Description

Bioharmony® Ultimate C 60s delivers the optimum combination of buffered Vitamin C and Zinc to assist in the maintenance of the immune function and good health.

The new formulation delivers 1000mg of high quality Vitamin C a day, the maximum recommended daily limit, together with 20mg of Zinc. All wrapped up in a smaller tablet making it easy to swallow.

Vitamin C supplements are known for aiding the immune system in fighting against colds and other sicknesses, but supplements are often highly acidic, making it hard for sensitive individuals to digest them comfortably.  Bioharmony Ultimate C new formulation contains a better quality buffered Vitamin C, which is now even more  gentle on the body, and can be taken without stomach upset and provides a longer-lasting effect.

Each Bioharmony® Ultimate tablet contains:

• Calcium ascorbate equivalent to 500,0 mg Vitamin C
• Zinc amino acid chelate providing 10,0 mg Zinc
• Excipients: Croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide and vegetable cellulose.
• Sugar free.
• Suitable for Vegetarians.
• Contains no dairy, wheat, yeast, preservatives or artificial colourants.

Adults: Take one tablet twice a day with meals or as directed by a healthcare professional. The use of Bioharmony® Ultimate C is contra-indicated in patients who are hypersensitive to  Vitamin C, Zinc or any of the ingredients.

Prolonged use of high doses of Bioharmony® Ultimate C may lead to copper deficiency with associated sideroblastic aneamia and neutropenia.

Caution is advised in patients with hyperoxaluria as large doses of Bioharmony® Ultimate C may result in hyperoxaluria and the formation of renal calcium oxalate calculi.

Do not use when planning pregnancy, pregnant or breastfeeding except under practitioner supervision. Safety and/or efficacy has not be established.

Effects on ability to drive and use machines:

The absorption of Bioharmony® Ultimate C may be reduced by iron supplements, penicillamine, phosphorus- containing preparations, tetracyclines and omeprazole. Bioharmony® Ultimate C may affect the absorption of iron, copper, fluoroquinolones, penicillamine, tetracyclines, desferrioxamine, hormonal contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy, fluphenazine and warfarin. Gastrointestinal disorders:

Frequent: Abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, gastric irritation and gastritis.

An overdose may intensify the listed side effects.
