1. Detailed description of goods and/or services

Avid Brands S.A. (Pty) Ltd markets and sells over 200 products (under 20 brands) in the health care (OTC) and consumer markets. Avid Brands is registered with SAHPRA (South African Health Products Regulatory Authority) as a pharmaceutical manufacturer.

2. Delivery policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within a reasonable time period and delivery confirmed via email by way of an order number.

Delivery of goods is via Courier.

Standard Delivery of goods via courier between 2-4 working days, to all main centres in South Africa only. This period may be extended if delivery is to outlying areas or over certain periods, such as Black Friday or Christmas etc.

A minimum spend of R400 qualifies for free delivery.

For orders under R400, Avid Brands charges a standard, non-refundable delivery fee of R65. Applicable to all areas within South Africa only.

Our delivery charges are subject to change at any time, without prior notice.

Avid Brands obligation to deliver a product to you is fulfilled when we deliver the product to the physical address nominated by you for delivery of the order.  Avid Brands S.A (Pty) Ltd is not responsible for any loss or unauthorised use of a product, after it has delivered the product to the physical address nominated by you.

3. Promotions & Special Offers

All promotions and special offers are at the discretion of Avid Brands.

A limit of 6 units per product per customer is set during promotional periods, while stocks last.

Should this not be adhered to, Avid Brands reserves the right to not fulfil the order, with a refund given if payment has been received.

The delivery period may be extended during promotional periods if necessary.

4. Export restriction

The offering on this website is available to South African clients only. We do not deliver internationally at this stage

5. Return and Refunds policy

If you are for any reason dissatisfied with an item purchased from our Online Store, you may contact us to return it for a refund, replacement or exchange.

We shall have the discretion to refund you by any appropriate means including cash, a gift card (electronic) or by crediting the applicable card.

Cancellations Policy:

Cancellation of orders after a product has been delivered may attract a cancellation fee + the courier cost of R65.

Important: Goods must be returned in their original condition in which they were received.

6. Customer Privacy policy

Avid Brands S.A. (Pty) Ltd shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). 7. Payment options accepted

All payments are processed through DPO PayGate.

Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard.

Only RSA credit cards to be used on our site.

8. Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for Avid Brands S.A. (Pty) Ltd via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za  to view their security certificate and security policy.

9. Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by Avid Brands S.A. (Pty) Ltd separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

10. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

11. Responsibility

Avid Brands S.A. (Pty) Ltd takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

12. Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa.

13. Variation

Avid Brands S.A. (Pty) Ltd may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
