Impilo Yezikelemu Worm Syrup 25ml

• Used for the elimination of roundworms and threadworms.
• Suitable for both adults and children.

Fasting before treatment is not necessary.

Roundworm:                                          Dosage to be taken ONCE, preferably in the morning.

Adults and children over 12 years:           A single dose of 6-7 medicine measuresful

9-12 years:                                            6 medicine measuresful

6-8 years:                                              5 medicine measuresful

4-5 years:                                              4 medicine measuresful

1-3 years:                                              2 medicine measuresful

Under 1 year:                                        1 ml / kg body mass

The dose may be repeated after 14 days.

Threadworm:                                         Treatment is for 7 days taken once daily adults and

Children over 12 years:                          3 – 4 medicine measuresful.

4 – 12 years:                                         2 medicine measuresful

2 – 3 years:                                           1 medicine measureful

Under 2 years:                                       0,36 – 0,6 ml / kg bodymass.

A second course after a seven day interval may be required.

To avoid reinfection, it is advised that the entire household be treated. EACH 5 ML CONTAINS:

Piperazine Hexahydrate B.P.C.              625 mg

Sodium Benzoate                                  0,1 % m/v SIDE EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, allergic reactions, abdominal pain, headache and urticaria may be experienced.

KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT:

If large amount accumulate in the body due to overdosage or renal dysfunction, toxic effects may be experienced.

Symptoms of overdosage include: drowsiness, dizziness, muscular in coordination or weakness, numbness, blurred vision, vertigo, confusion, tremor, convulsions, loss of reflexes and respiratory depression.Toxic effects usually disappear when use is discontinued. The medicine may induce or exacerbate epileptic seizures in predisposed patients.  Consult a doctor or the nearest hospital. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.
